Well, I have to admit that sometimes I get the urge to run down the University Bicycle team types here. They have no concept of the term share the road, an act like cars do not exist. But I guess that is more a teenage feeling of imortality than anything else. However I have noticed that people who wear regular clothes when riding act more civilized than those who dress like racers.
Of course I am one who aways considered a bicycle as transportation rather than a toy. I am sad to say that health and helmet laws do not allow me to use them that way anymore. I still have a Raleigh laying about the apartment in parts awaiting to be restored. frank theriault wrote: > On Nov 30, 2007 4:09 PM, Bob W <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >> I have just discovered the following quotation: >> >> "Nothing compares with the >> simple pleasure of a bike ride" >> John F Kennedy >> >> Coming from a man who shagged Marilyn Monroe, and thought 'first lady' >> meant the one he had before breakfast, that has got to be a good >> recommendation. >> >> -- >> Bon weekend, tout le monde! > > Good old Jack. > > ;-) > > My favourite bicycle quote has been attributed to H.G.
