Hi,

some remarks: it is FA, but FAJ lens and it has no Internal Focussing
(IF). Front element doesn't rotate but barrel extends during focussing.
This lens was originally destignated for *ist film bodies, so it works
fine with film bodies. As it has no aperture ring, you have be able to
control aperture electronically from body. It's quite sharp and has
moderate geometrical abberations. Sure, there is some wide-end
vignetting at at f/4, but at f/8 vignetting is not a big problem.
FAJ18-35 is also quite good with digital bodies, I'd say better than
DA18-55. It was my "dedicated" lens for my K10D from last december to
august this year, when I got DA16-50. It snapped hundreds of nice photos
both to film and digital media.
You may ask more information directly (estonian, english or russian
language)

BR, Margus
