Thanks, Mark (and everyone else who commented).

I do like the music stand shot as is, so I'll likely leave it.  If the
"client" (still feel weird saying that) prefers it square, I'll do
that for him, but I'll show it as is (uncropped).

I'll likely burn (perhaps not clone, but burn) those bright lights.
This isn't a finished product, just a preliminary thing.

I am using BW Plus.  For this one I can't remember, but I think I used
the yellow filter.  I use BW Plus all the time - makes for real easy
and nice conversions!
