Well, it was for a friend - actually a friend of my partners.  He's a
composer of one of the pieces (the other composers - Prokofiev and
Beethoven - refused to kick in any money, so screw them!).

He insisted on paying me, so I went with Steady's suggested "amateur
or community" fees of about 1/2 the price he'd charge for a
professional orchestra for such a shoot.

It's good exposure for me, because all the orchestra members and the
conductor will be looking at these things and maybe word will get
around.  So, since this is like my first "professional gig", and it's
for a friend, I don't mind giving a bit of a discount...
