Yep, that's me age 8.  The only thing done in elements was a slight tweak in
levels.  The balloon photo may date to 1949, but dad didn't date those.  I
THINK it was my 5th birthday.

So far I've been pleased with this relatively inexpensive scanner.  Some of
the landscape shots seem to have blown out skies, but it may be the slides
themselves.

I like the extra work on the balloons to give them stripes.
