Hi David, happy new year! I love the second one - the colors are very vivid and the backlighting really makes it gorgeous. The first one looks kind of flat to me - maybe a lack of a range of values, but it is an interesting shot and title. :) I have to say that I like the flower in color better, although if I had seen the B&W version without the color I would have enjoyed it anyways.
