Can anyone recommend a reliable repairer in the UK? I lost confidence in the guy in Harrow after his abortive attempts to sort out my LX focussing problem a couple of years ago.
I had the winder attached to one of the LXes and was playing about with it in continuous mode while there was no film loaded. I then found that the camera appeared to have the shutter cocked, but would neither fire the shutter, nor wind on - whether the winder was attached or not. When the winder was attached it appeared to be trying to wind on all the time, when the shutter was pressed.
