Yes, they were. I was hoping that it would have been noticeable (without being too obvious) in the photos. I'm glad you noticed it! That was shot about a kilometre from my apartment. There are several areas within walking distance of my residence where numbers of Orthodox Jews live. I guess that means there are Orthodox Synagogues nearby, as my partner tells me that they always walk to Shul. They certainly seemed to be enjoying themselves on the snowy hill on New Years Day!
