This one is of a bench in front of an old house at the corner of
Victora and Main Street here in town. It just struck me as a decent
winter scene. I converted it to B&W.

===============
This scene has a lot to recommend it, nice shapes and repetitive patterns.
I've looked at it several times now. I prefer the B&W.

However, in both versions, the base of the second tree (the one in the
background on the right) is blurred. It's not just shallow DOF, the whole area
around the base of the tree is sort of mushed and pixelated looking. The rest
of
the photo, things even further back, are not as mushed, so therefore I don't
think it's just DOF. Condensation on the lens at that point? Something in
post processing? Almost looks like fingerprint.

That blurry section really distracts from the whole photo for me. Wasn't
sure whether to mention it or not, but, heh, now I have.
