PDML rule of thumb (I should probably call it "Rule of quick thumb"): If you have important news to post "FYI", if you wait long enough, somebody else would post it to PDML. Corollary: If you post some news that is more than 1 hour old, it probably has been posted to PDML already. If you don't see it there, you must have overlooked it. :-) Corollary 2 (my personal): I prefer reading PDML as opposed to writing to it.
