Yes, I had just the same experience with Kodak Ultime paper. With enough tweaking of the printer driver settings, I was able to get "acceptable" results, but still nowhere near the quality obtainable on Epson paper. Still, the Ultima is streets ahead of Kodak's previous top-of-the-line paper, so they *are* improving. I hope Ultima isn't their ultimate paper; they may come up with something worth buying eventually.
