We do have local builders and I did make enquiries. For the normal retail price of the Paddy Wagon I could have had a frame built. Due to my connections I was able to obtain the bike at "a bit less" than retail so the choice was pretty clear, especially as this bike is exactly what I was looking for. Down here there isn't really a much fashion status for fixies, I hear about them all the time in NYC and London but I don't see many in these parts.
