I agree, it doesn't look IR. I didn't mean to say it should or does, but I used an IR plug in (maybe by B&W Plus?) on PS. One can fiddle around with various sliders to get it to look more or less like IR, and you can fiddle with the grain, too. I'm sure that afficionados of IR (Hello Chainsaw!) would say that it can never look like ~real~ IR. The way I use it, I think it looks more like Recording Film - and an earlier comment by Wheatfield corroborates my thinking.
