Has anybody used the Pentax version of the 18-250 (smc P-DA 18-250mm) yet? Any impressions about it? I don't seem to find any reasonable reviews.
I know, I know, many people here have a snobbish attitude towards this lens. It is not as great as 85/1.4 or 77/1.8. However, even though I am not a soccer mom or dad, but I am considering getting this one -- suitable for trips where I have weight/volume limitations, or for occasions where I need wide range of focal lengths but cannot switch lenses (e.g. when it is too dusty or there is no time for that). For the former occasions, it would replace Tokinas 19-35,28-70,and Tamron 70-300, while possibly leaving some space for 1 or 2 primes. Igor PS.
