Well, I would say that if Pentax survives another 5 years and longer
then a FF sensor is almost inevitable.

However, in my case, it makes no difference. I am in the hunt for
lenses, not bodies. Some of the lenses that have shown up on the
roadmap are just what I am looking for, namely the 17~70 and the
60~250. Tamron has announced a 10~24 that is also a "lust after"
option. Maybe Pentax has something similar in the wings.

I can see getting a K20 next year, when the "new" camera is announced
and prices come down somewhat. At that point I will be most likely
Satiated and ready to drop out of the pixel chase forever! :-)
