All pictures taken with the DL2, Pentax's cheapest and nastiest DSLR. 
Birds with the 50-200 kit zoom.  Opinions on that may vary....

Common as muck here.  Easier to identify in the summer when they have 
(gasp!) black (or, at least, very dark brown)heads.

Indeedy.  The limiting factor was my ability to track the bird 
accurately, given the gusty weather and the other people throwing food 
for the birds.

I agree but, once I had removed the cars, I couldn't decide where to 
make the cut.  Just removing them leaves a lot of nothing at the top, 
moving it further down seems to unbalance the picture
