Well, nothing was built on top of it, and it's un-restored, the earth works and stone retaining walls the held them in are still visible as was the back exit and the trench that constituted a kind of tunnel or covered way between the fort proper and the lower battery.. You should visit Crown Point sometime, now that's a place where nothings left. I believe it was as large a fortification as Ticonderoga in upstate NY and there's less to see than Griswold which was a much smaller fort. Both the latter forts were from an earlier era built by the super powers of the day, and Fort Ty has been extensively reconstructed.
