I had this Sigma with HSM in Nikon mount. It wasn't as fast as Dario's 70-200/2.8 in K mount screwdriven by *istD. If Dario reads it he may confirm this. AFAIR it was about as fast as DA* 50-135 despite ring USM motor, so nothing special. Contrary to this Canon L 70-200/2.8 IS was much faster when I tried it.
