I found it to be a considerable amount. Original posts don't seem to be making it through, only the responses. My Yahoo home page sticks on the same 'stuff' for extended periods of time, whereas in the past you had better read it now or it's gone and replaced by updated 'stuff'. I may have my own Yahoo problem.(?)
============== I've been wondering for sometime why list traffic is down. Would everyone have run out of things to say at the same time? Unlikely. Though in my experience, list yearly traffic is way down from what it was, say four years ago. It seems to go down each year. Well, some of us have been around awhile and we've already covered a lot of topics. Already covered a lot of ground. But I've attributed more recent drops in traffic (last year approx.) to the new (relatively) Pentax forum. And disgust. I think we lost a bunch of regular posters through all the cough, a... simulator stuff with, cough, J... especially. I know at least four or five left soon after the last worst round of that. However, we've also gained new people too. And people who post. In recent weeks, especially, it has seemed even more down than usual. Sometimes almost at a complete halt. The list can go a day now, for me, with only about 30 posts coming in. It can go hours with none coming in. I checked the archives too, I seem to be getting most of the posts. But it has made me wonder if maybe a lot of other people aren't. Maybe the list is just diminishing. It has seemed to diminish over time. It's hard to know. So in a way, it is very reassuring to have you, Jack, and Rick confirm that you are missing posts. Maybe the list isn't just diminishing, but people are missing a lot again. Of course, there is only so much any of us can say about photography and/or lenses and cameras. :-) I thought the new server/system wasn't supposed to do that. I thought that's partially, or a lot, why Doug moved the list. So I hope something can be done about it.
