I'm always bothered by the concept that the only thing that matters is the end result. There is nothing wrong with liking or disliking the process of getting there enough that it affects how you go about things. Every year, I hitch up the trailer and I drive to BC for a vacation in the mountains. I could fly there faster, and rent a cabin, but I happen to like driving, and I find mountain roads to be soothing and relaxing. Don't ever buy into the crap that all that matters is the print. The integrity is in the process, the print is just a piece of paper proving that you've done something. If you want to buy something, I have a spare enlarger in the basement.
