It's fairly prosaic, but a few years ago I got to tag along with a pro shooting a heli-logging operation in BC. Got some interesting shots, but the winner was lost due to lack of zoom (18-55 wasn't enough) and too much high ISO noise (I was stuck shooting at ISO 3200 in daytime due to light and the need for a faste shutetr speed).
