Howdy. Mike B. (Beaker) made the trek to my hotel Sunday morning and we ventured to the Meadowlark Nature Photography Expo, which was only about 4 miles away. Therein we found a Zeiss booth. The rep had one PK mount lens on hand - the 35/2. Very nice. It's quite similar in appearance to the Voigtlander that was discussed on list recently. In other words, very nice. http://www.meadowlarkphotoexpo.org/index.html
I hadn't planned on doing any shooting while in the DC area, so I only brought along the 750z. Mike had the foresight to bring two cameras along, so I shot a few frames with his K100D and an Isco-Gottingen 50/2.8. This thing is tiny. Even smaller than the Pentax 40mm lenses. I uploaded two photos here: http://picasaweb.google.com/sdloveless/PDMLPESO/photo#5165495070951019666 http://picasaweb.google.com/sdloveless/PDMLPESO/photo#5165495122490627234 Mike dropped me off just after noon, but said he was going back to the expo. Tony Sweet was speaking Sunday afternoon. Perhaps Mike can fill us in on the rest of the day. -- Scott Loveless http://www.twosixteen.com/fivetoedsloth/ -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
