It has a rather Soviet-era air about it, for sure.  I
have mixed feelings about it too.  Without the Soviet
touches it would be an ordinary snap.

I don't think we should put qualifiers on "good" photographs.  I think

Maybe artsy?  Who knows?  Holgas have received quite a lot of attention 
these last few years, and that's one of the reasons I own one.  And I 
suppose it is good enough for a Holga.  (I'm not bashing Paul's response 
here.)  But to qualify it that way make me think of the jokes on this 
list about professional photographers and Pentax cameras.  :)  I'm 
probably putting too much effort into this.  It's a fun snap, nothing more.
