Yes indeed!

There was a wealthy Japanese family who lived at the end of the  
street, about a block away from us, when I was growing up. I remember  
seeing one of these cars, in exactly this color, parked in his  
driveway on occasion.

He had an Allard K3 and a Cooper race car too.

The lines on it remind me of a couple of 1950s/1960s Lancias. I don't  
find the color offensive either ... it's prettier in person than it  
looks in a photograph.
