I use a web tool to capture the .flv files ...

   http://keepvid.com/

It works most of the time. You can then use any number of VLC/FLV  
players/viewers/editors to transform it to whatever you want. On Mac  
OS X, I use the "SWF & FLV Player.app" and "VLC.app".
