Very articulate and I find it hard to disagree with much that he says.  I am, 
however, not sure he is right about AL not knowing the provenance of the 
O'Murphy protrait.  She is not an unintelligent person.  Attaching modern mores 
to a 250 year old portrait doesn't seem very logical to me and rather spoils an 
otherwise perfect attack on the precepts of AL's work.
