Mark, it has pretty much transformed the way I shoot. One body, two lenses max. Seeing the world through a viewfinder - even going back to the 1DmII is like looking down a tunnel. It's quiet, the wind-on action is fabulous - cocking the shutter is so natural a thing. Makes you really think about the shot. The build quality is stunning. I keep the rear LCD folded away almost permanently. I can change any aspect of picture taking on the outside of the body. Only open the rear LCD to format the card! Have a look in May. But careful - it could lead to a major enablement problem!! BTW saw one go today for 720 GBP.
