The population will have to be thinned at some point. That's always been the case when man and predators live together. Sheep farmers have already suffered greatly because of the wolves. The wolves won't be reduced to extinction again because the population is now monitored. But they can't be allowed to proliferate unchecked as some over the top environmentalists demand. That just doesn't work. The real environmentalists, those who understand the need for balance, realize that controls are necessary.
