Don't be mean.

I really don't know squat about lenses - an equipment geek I'm not!

It's an autofocus lens.  It has a ring that locks in at A.  I thought
that made it an A lens.  What do I know?

It says Pentax 50 on top of it.  It opens to f1.7 (although the exif
data only ever shows it opening to 1.8).  It's plastic.  It focuses
all by itself if I set the body appropriately.

You tell me what it is!
