Presuming they are running a Noritsu machine, they can output a couple of resolutions of jpeg (~1000x1600 and ~2000x3000), possibly higher if the scanners have gotten better, and then they have the option of tiff or jpegs at several compressions. If they are running Fuji, I would expect similar possibilities. I don't think Noritsu has gone to 16 bit scans yet, Fuji may have though.
