A Silky should stand 9-10 inches at the shoulder, and smaller is undesirable as 
it makes them 
look more toylike, and should weigh 8-10 pounds. Silkies should have all the 
character traits of 
a Terrier.

There are a couple of versions of Chihuahua, the long coated is essentially a 
Papillon/ 
Pomeranian/Chihuhua cross that now breeds to type, and the short coated.
Neither should be no more than a 6 pound dog, with 2-4 pounds being preferable. 
The males tend 
to be closer to the 6 pound mark.
