I have an old HP Photosmart that does 2600 dpi. However, the scans
that I get with it are not as good as the Costco versions. Besides, my
scanner takes 3 to 5 minutes per scan sometimes.
I have been very happy with the Costco scans and plan on geting a lot
of my slides archived this way.
