Noise is a slight bit noticeable on #3. Don't know if I could lift this combination, let alone shoot and adjust focus at the same time. I did sort of expect slightly more detail, but with the 2X T/C the inadvertent rapid scene movement would have been extremely difficult to overcome even at the noted shutter speeds and SR on.
