I was reading about this in Shutterbug last night. The only
problem I can see with it is that the film is destroyed by the
process. Right now, their resolution is a low, but I expect they
will improve on that quite rapidly.
This might be where photofinishing is going. One of the things
mentioned in the article is that there is zero liquid effluent
discharge from the process.
This is the sort of thing that the environmental people will be
looking at quite closely, I expect.
