I slogged through deep mud in the orchard right after heavy rains. I
thought several times I was going to go down and probably should have
taken a tripod, or something, to help me pull my boots out of the mire.
I couldn't find a rest and couldn't hold it well enough to sharpen the
foreground trees the way I would have liked, so I took what I could
get. Funny how you remember such details after so many years.
