I've done two weddings on digital, and I found them no less stressful than the thousand or so that I've done on film. The only thing that digital improved for me was not worrying about running out of film while the bride was coming up the aisle. To be fair, when I shot film, I had complete control over the entire process, but if you are worrying that much about your lab buggering things up, you need to find a lab you can trust.
