PPS: I am impressed so far with the K20D. Pentax is known to have had problems with the new factory near Hanoi where the DA* lenses were produced. I'm told this is why the subsequent DA* lenses were delayed. Paul is correct that I took a risk by buying the DA* lenses early. But I learned a few years ago when Pentax gear started becoming hard to get that if you want a piece of Pentax gear, grab it when you see it.
