Probably just ticked him off. Extreme viewpoints, e.g., equipment doesn't matter at all, tick me off as well. They're almost always wrong or irrelevant.
>>> "Mark Erickson" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 3/14/2008 12:56 PM >>> I saw Michael Reichmann's rebuttal to a Ken Rockwell essay and skimmed it. I guess I'm wondering why Michael even bothered? Rockwell's approach seems to be to mix a liberal dose of "trolling" material in with some reasonable stuff. Whether he does it on purpose or not, I guess it works to drive traffic to his site. Looks like he hooked Mr. Reichmann this time, which surprises me. Reichmann seems like a very web-savvy guy and I would have guessed that he knew of Rockwell's reputation and the quality (or lack thereof) of Rockwell's website contents. I disagree with Reichmann's opinions sometimes, but I respect them because they seem well thought out. This article makes me wonder a bit.... --Mark -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions. !SIG:47dab163101549780359965! -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
