...strikes me as a little odd. 

Anything in between? What about above and below? I mean, the spectrum
sure is a lot wider. There's lots of life below a Cherio box, e.g. all
that Canon stuff, and at the other end my Pentax camera is far better
than anything ever built by Hasselblad. How can someone like Reichmann
ignore this? Always came over like a rather sensible guy.
