Took a drive a couple hours ago looking for spring. This is an example of what's happening, weather wise, at the moment. Flowers are California Poppies (state flower) which hadn't felt the sun quite long enough to be fully open. Taken in the area of the Sutter Buttes which is recognized as "The World's Smallest Mountain Range", located in the Sacramento Valley.
