Remember i quit back in Nov last year. He called me late Jan and was stuck for a driver for a 1 day job to the Bluewater bridge. I said ok, 1 load. Then it was, I have a 4 day load to Fargo, all following, could you do that one. Ok, and then the next etc.
Well, i really don't like the work. To stressfull, and to much away from home. Had 34 years of that. Plus the truck keeps breaking down, leaving me some waht late or no show for my equine jobs,( I have a good rep in the area and this could blow it for me) and this run accused of letting my driver damage the tower on a sign. I knew that was false, and went out and took photos of the intersection in question, the damage. When confronted with this evidence, they changed their tune and maybe a driver backed into the load. However they told their boss, i was inatentive. I have processed the photos of the dent, intersection and ding from the load that backed into my drivers load and forwarded to my boss. There will also be a mention of, oh btw i'm done.;-0 I was told i could do my shows as well as drive for him. So far i have missed 2 of 3. I am trying to add shows to fill in the holes, and i have managed some, so if i can do that, i can make a living from these shows, and thats what i would rather be doing.:-) Dave On Sun, Mar 16, 2008 at 6:41 PM, P.
