Two comments gleaned from the list at Stan Halpin's lens comments site.  
Not very complementary but not the worst lens either.  It takes a very 
special lens for Shel to be effusive and this isn't one of those...

Stan should really update this site, it's getting a bit dated, and it's 
still useful, (Better him than me doing it, that's for sure).
