List folks: The one photographic magazine that I read every single month, without fail, is Lenswork. I hope some of you do too. Some of you possibly subscribe like I do (I get both the print and the Extended CD versions every month ... fanatic? yes ... and loving it. ;-).
But some of you might not, you might only pick up a copy occasionally. And if you buy it only occasionally from the newsstand, and didn't buy the current edition, you might not have seen the notice that Brooks Jensen wrote his editorial about nor seen the announcement he sent to subscribers: The current issue of Lenswork magazine on the newsstand is the last newsstand edition that will be offered. No, Lenswork is not going out of business. They've decided to take a stand (pardon the pun) on the wasteful process of newsstand magazine distribution. Read all about it here: http://www.lenswork.com/newsstand.html I applaud this decision, in this world of increasingly serious environmental crisis and ongoing, needless, wasteful consumption of precious resources. It's a risky thing to do, but it's the right thing to do. Hopefully you'll feel the same way. Perhaps some of you will be moved to subscribe with this news. But if you don't, and if you still want to get that occasional copy of Lenswork, be sure to visit the Lenswork website now and then to see what's coming up so you can order your issue. http://www.lenswork.com usw, Godfrey -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
