I'm really prehistoric then, I use a paper towel...
I haven't tried the expo disc, though I suspect I have something similar tucked 
away somewhere. 
Once upon a time I bought a plastic stick on the lens thing that was supposed 
to turn a TTL 
camera meter into an incident light meter.
