Thanks, Jostein (and everyone else who commented). I agree with your comments about jeans and their comfort (or lack thereof). It's a fashion thing, I think. Plus, some of the guys tell me that they would prefer to rip a cheap pair of jeans rather than expensive spandex (tm). They usually wear spandex under the jeans, but in the summer, whatever cooling (and flexibility) advantages spandex (tm) have would be lost. When I was a courier, I wore spandex (tm) with nothing over them. Everyone thought I was a geek, but I didn't care.
