Thanks. Unfortunately I doubt my High School French is up to reading the documentation.
It says Vista, doesn't say if it runs on XP or W2K. Pentax Japan hasn't updated their English page yet, Pentax USA hasn't updated their download page yet either. I'm hoping that Pentax isn't stupid enough to require Vista for the new software. BTW I just checked out the Silkypix web page and they don't list the K20D as a supported camera. I find that interesting. I've refused to upgrade my personal machine to XP because I find the candified interface insulting and the software bloated, (and I can do most everything I need to do with W2K Photoshop 7.0 produces reasonably good looking prints). I'll "upgrade" to XP if I absolutely have to, at least it's stable,. I draw the line at Vista.
