Gaetan, oh yes! I made my own RA-4 color prints untill about four years ago. 
At that point I was convinced digital printing was here to stay. I printed 
up to 11X14 RA-4 at home using Tetenal chemistry that didn't need 
temperature regulation and a drum on a roller. 16X20 and larger prints I 
made at a rental darkroom in San Francisco. I had a lot of trouble with 
color balance and repeatability. Now I send my film scans or digital images 
to a lightjet lab. Interestingly enough, the labs print with lasers on the 
same Fuji Crystal Archive RA-4 paper I used in the darkroom. Good inkjet 
prints have a much wider color gamut than RA-4 paper. That means I have to 
compromise with yellow and orange colors compared with the screen image or a 
good inkjet print. In the old days I never knew those colors were there! No 
regrets.
