PENTAX DECLARES JANUARY DEBUT FOR MZ-6

Pentax UK will celebrate the New Year by launching a new 35mm SLR called
the MZ-6. It is expected to debut in two kits, one of which comes with
another newcomer, a 28-90mm lens. Billed as one of the most compact and
lightweight cameras in its class, Pentax says that the MZ-6 is designed
to cater for beginners as well as 'intermediate photographers'. Pentax
UK's John Dickins denied that the MZ-6 is a 'revamped version' of the
MZ-7, as described in the Japanese press, but confirmed it would
eventually replace the MZ-7.

More details from AP UK to follow when I get round to typing them in...

(NO Spotmeter according to article though!)
