Llamas are nasty little camels. If you pick your LC camera wisely, it is surprisingly light weight. My Tachihara and 3 lenses and spot meter weighs less than my 6x7, 3 lenses and meter prism. The LF weight problem is film holders. Enough film holders for a good days shooting (I have about 20 of them) takes up half the space in my camera bag and more than doubles the weight, Kodak has a version of a lightweight film holder that saves a lot of space and weight, but is fairly expensive to use. A friend has a lightweight film holder system that works very well for him. I don't recall the name of it unfortunately. William Robb - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
