Hmmm. I'm at work, using IE6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519 8-) The home page loads fine up to the separator bar under your "about me" link and then slows for about 3-4 minutes whilst the rest of the page loads. It then all appears at once. I can then click through to the links below the bar and they work fine. Go back to the home page and the slow load begins again. I think your truck guiding has contaminated the page. A couple of weeks bicycle couriering should fix it.
